At Candor we help companies win government funding with AI.
When we met at Stanford 4 years ago, it was rare for startups to work with the US Government. In the years that we've been involved in the burgeoning Defense Tech ecosystem, a lot has changed. Silicon Valley and the US Government are closer than theyve been in decades.
We're only going to see more cooperation in the coming years. With that, there will be increasingly more funding going towards companies in defense, energy, biotech, quantum etc.

Meet Our Team
Marcus Zimmerman
Chief Executive Officer
Marcus is the CEO of Candor. He helped start and is the Vice President of Stanford's DEFCON Tech and National Security Network. He also previously worked at a Venture Capital fund where he was a part of their investment in Saronic Technologies (Unmanned Surface Vehicles) and is an angel investor in Theseus (Drone Navigation in GPS Denied Environments). He was also the first hire at Notebook Labs, a startup that raised $3.3 million from Bain Capital Crypto.
Ethne Laude
Chief Technology Officer
Ethne is the CTO of Candor. At Stanford she majored in CS Systems and Math, where she did research on compiling sparse applications to domain specific hardware. She was also a National Security Innovation Fellow, where she worked on a DoD PEO directory. In past summers she was a Quant Trader at Morgan Stanley and an intern at the United States Space Force.
